Phab Hair Lounge specializes in hair extensions and sew-ins. Microlink extensions are the main offering, and the salon also installs weft, tape-in, iTip and K-tip extensions, along with sew-in styles and extension removal.

Every visit starts with planning. Microlink clients must complete a consultation before being serviced, and new clients must book a consultation before a tape-in install. The consultation includes a set of questions and a look at the client's natural hair, followed by matching texture and color. The salon says the integrity and health of clients' hair is its top priority. Microlink installs are not recommended for clients with relaxers, haircuts above the ear, or severe damage or hair loss. Clients are asked to return in 4 to 6 weeks for a refresher and reinstall or take-down, and an install should not stay in longer than 5 to 6 months, with a refresh about every 4 weeks.

Pricing is listed per service, with some upcharges. Tape-in lengths up to 28 inches carry an upcharge, and sew-in pricing starts at 16 inches with an added fee for longer lengths. Double weft and iTip installs require a 150 dollar deposit to secure the appointment. Installs are paid in cash, with remaining balances due in cash; card or virtual payments include an 8 percent NYS tax. Clients who arrive late are charged a 25 dollar late fee and are asked to contact the salon at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule or cancel.

Beyond installs, the salon offers a Phab Spa Wash with blow or braid down, an extensions wash and silk press, and a one-on-one Microlink masterclass. Color services start at 80 dollars. The salon also sells extension hair and lace glue products.

Each Microlink or tape-in client begins with a consultation that reviews natural hair and then matches texture and color. The salon says the integrity and health of clients' hair comes first.
