Visits can begin with a 20-minute consultation, which can be done virtually or in person and can cover questions about any service. The Big Chop Pixie Transformation takes about 1 hour 10 minutes and includes an in-depth consultation, precision cutting and professional styling.
For clients keeping an existing look fresh, there is a wash and re-curl option that refreshes a pixie without cutting, and a maintenance refresh for current pixie clients that covers wash and style, a pixie trim, edge and neckline cleanup, and relaxer touch-up. The studio also offers a 28-piece pixie quick weave, which is a boy cut with no curls. Clients who want curls pay extra and must arrive with clean, oil-free hair, and they bring their own 2pk Janet collection or Empire hair.
Same-day visits can be arranged with a squeeze-in add-on that costs $100 for a 30-minute service. Squeeze-in bookings do not guarantee skipping scheduled appointments, so clients are served as time allows within the day, and they should call right after booking to confirm availability.
Lakeisha teaches the Private 1-on-1 Pixie Intensive, a six-hour hands-on class for $1,200 covering pixie cutting, relaxer techniques, curling, styling and the studio's signature finish. Students may bring their own model or have one provided. Sessions are limited, so clients should call before booking.
