Perfect Locks was founded in 2007 by Priyanka Swamy and Gautama, who began from their apartment with three products. The business later moved to a garage and then a first office in 2012, and opened its Walnut Creek showroom, private wig room and salon in 2017. It describes itself as family-owned.
