Pedicures Remembered

Pedicures Remembered began as Charlotte's Nail & Beauty Spa and was rebranded under its current name in 2014. The studio now focuses only on pedicures and foot care, working from a private studio in North Chesterfield. The owner, Charlotte Kelly Turner, is a licensed pedicurist with more than 35 years in the nail industry. The studio says its mission is to raise the standard of foot health in the nail care industry, and it describes itself as a destination for personalized foot care.

Visits are booked by calling 804.837.0317 or by emailing pedicuresremembered@gmail.com. Clients send photos of their feet in advance so the right level of care and the cost can be determined. Pedicures are priced by level, and the level price does not include add-ons. The studio is available Thursdays and Fridays, with Saturdays offered for an added fee. A non-refundable deposit secures the next appointment, and deposits may be paid through Zelle. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice, and a client more than 15 minutes late may have the appointment rescheduled. Guests are not allowed unless they are also receiving a service or were agreed on in advance. Cash and Zelle are accepted.

The studio serves clients aged 16 and older. Clients who want a self-care pedicure, seniors, and people with toenail or foot concerns that fall within a nail technician's scope are the studio's main clientele. Products include premium professional and natural lines, plus a foot butter the studio makes by hand. Nail polish is available in vegan, cruelty-free options at no extra charge with most pedicures. The studio does not use gel polish, citing its possible long-term effects on nail health, and it does not use cheese graters, jetted tubs or acrylic toenails.

Treatments are planned around each client's foot concerns, with guidance on caring for feet between visits. Foot issues beyond the scope of nail care are referred to a medical professional.
