Pearl and Pine Hair Design

Pearl and Pine Hair Design is a personalized studio led by owner stylist Sarah Lamar. The name draws on the idea of beauty within each person and on strength and growth. The studio is set up to focus on the individual client rather than a trend, with the aim of enhancing what someone already has.

Appointments are offered Tuesday through Thursday, from 8am to 3:30pm. Every haircut and color service begins with a consultation, and a free 30-minute consultation can be booked before any service. Haircut pricing follows starting hair length, with signature cuts from $90 for clipper and short styles, $100 for short, $105 for medium, $110 for long, and $120 for XL, each with a set appointment length.

Curly and textured clients are asked to arrive with clean, air-dried hair in its natural pattern and minimal product. The Mizani Aircut is used for curly and textured cuts; the signature version is $185 for 90 minutes. Color services include a classic root refresh from $150, custom partial highlights from $185, custom full highlights from $260, and dimensional brunette and gray coverage work. Some results, such as reaching a desired brightness on dark or previously colored hair, can take more than one visit, and moving from gray coverage to gray blending is usually a multi-appointment process.

Scalp and strand treatments can be added to a cut or color or booked on their own. The signature scalp treatment is $150 for 90 minutes, and a shorter scalp add-on is $65. A keratin-based Express Smoothing Treatment, designed to last up to five weeks, starts at $175 for 75 minutes. Smaller extras include a moisture add-on at $35, a shampoo and style for $85, a bang trim for $15, and eyebrow or lip waxing at $20 each.
