The team receives ongoing education, support and mentorship, and the salon says its decisions start with the guests it serves and the surrounding community.

Hair services cover cuts, barbering, color, blowouts and styling, extensions, and scalp and hair treatments. Haircuts include a shampoo, conditioning and style unless noted otherwise, and usually take 45 to 75 minutes. Pricing varies with the stylist's experience and the time a cut requires. Color services use Aveda Full Spectrum Permanent, a vegan color, and a $10 color product charge applies to each color service.

Consultations are required before hair extensions and color transformation services, and recommended before major color changes, corrective color or a first visit. Extensions come hand-sewn or tape-in, are custom-toned and blended with Aveda color, and are quoted at consultation based on method, amount of hair and customization. They need regular maintenance appointments and specific home care. Extension blowouts include one row, with additional rows at $10 each.

Skin services at The Well Spa include HydraFacials customized to each guest's skin, goals and schedule, the Aveda Tulasara Facial, Glo2 Facial, BioRePeel, ZO peels, microneedling and dermaplaning. The Aveda Tulasara Facial begins with a consultation, after which the esthetician selects products, aromas and techniques, and it comes in 30, 60 or 90 minute versions. Glow Society is a monthly facial membership with one treatment a month, available only at The Well Spa and enrolled during a facial or by phone. Members receive 10% off ZO Skincare and Colorscience products and 10% off microneedling. Memberships charge the card on file on the first of each month and do not renew automatically, and members may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice requested.

Appointments can be booked or changed through the SalonBiz app, the website, or by calling 901-818-0773. A card on file is required to reserve, and gift cards are accepted; credit card payments carry a 3% service fee. Appointments must be cancelled at least 6 hours in advance, and late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the service cost. Adjustments can be requested within 14 days of a service. Hours at both locations are Monday 8 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday to Friday 8 AM to 8:30 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM.

According to the salon, decisions are made with guests and the surrounding community in mind first. The business follows Aveda's guidelines on client care, ongoing training, ingredients derived from natural sources, and protecting the environment.
