Ora Wellness was originally established as Tenafly Art of Fitness. Dr. Julie Diasparra founded and owns the business, which now operates as an integrative wellness center.

The center describes itself as a holistic practice focused on restoring balance and vitality. Its Eastern Medicine work rests on balance, the flow of Qi and the connection between the body's systems, with an emphasis on prevention. Functional Medicine takes a patient-centered view aimed at identifying and addressing root causes of illness, using diagnostic testing and personalized plans that may include nutrition, supplements, stress management and lifestyle changes.

A Himalayan Salt Room offers halotherapy, and the facility includes a fully equipped gym that the center describes as state of the art. Fitness Center access is included with certain memberships and can be used without an appointment.

Booking in advance online or by phone is recommended, and a valid credit card may be required to hold a reservation. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice, while late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to the full cost of the service. The center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, and on weekends by appointment.

Practitioners combine Eastern and Western practices and collaborate with one another. Care is tailored to each person across pain management, recovery programs, stress relief, aesthetics and long-term wellness planning.

The space uses waterfall sounds, Himalayan salt tiles and crystals set into the walls.
