Opal & Ivy

Opal & Ivy was established in 2026 by co-founders Ashlyn and Talia, and it operates from a single chair at 178 Briarcliff Dr, Suite 31, in Clayton. Each artist keeps her own calendar, so clients choose an artist and book directly with that artist.

Visits are one guest in the chair at a time, in a private space. Clients can call or text either artist with questions before booking. Sunday and Monday appointments are with Talia. The booking pages list Monday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM with Talia.

The salon's services fall into four groups: cuts and structure, color, highlights and balayage, and treatments. Treatments can be added to any service or booked alone. Cuts include precision cutting, dry-cut detailing and precision fringe. Color covers single-process color, root melts and tonal glossing. Highlights include hand-painted work, sun-placed brightness and face-framing. Treatments include bond repair, scalp treatments and glossing finishes.

Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

The salon aims for hair that looks natural rather than overdone, with color and cuts shaped around each client.
