Owner Calynn started the business after years of working in salons, and the team now includes stylists who work at levels 1 to 4, with level 4 reflecting the most experience.

The salon's mission is to educate clients and give them confidence so they can make positive changes in their own lives. Its stated values include building poise and self-confidence, passion, transparency, kindness and respect, accountability for results, and continual growth. The salon describes its vision as being a source of education and inspiration and a leader in the hair industry.

The space is calm, warm, and intimate, with a New England coastal feel. Clients can enjoy complimentary beverages, wifi, and outdoor seating, and the salon plays indoor and outdoor music. Appointments are booked online through the salon's Square page, and a credit card is required to reserve a time.

Blonding and balayage services include a consultation, a customizable gloss, a bond protector, and the salon's signature OPAL blowout with waves. The salon also sells OPAL Extensions, a line created by Calynn, and offers tape-in and hand-tied extension consultations, removal, push-up extensions, and a range of install and move-up services. Bridal hair and makeup trials, bridal styling, and event styles are offered as well.
