OnSite Style launched in 2020 and operates mainly inside residential buildings across Boston and nearby Cambridge, East Boston and Revere. Its pop-ups include several named buildings, and it also has a full-service salon on Newbury Street that is open by appointment. According to the salon, its experience is five-star luxury.

The model is built to benefit three groups: the residential buildings that host the pop-ups, the residents who get salon services without leaving home, and the stylists, who gain new clients. Many pop-up stylists also work full-time at the Newbury Street salon. The salon says its team is made up of highly skilled beauty professionals, and stylists are professionally trained and keep up with ongoing continuing education.

A visit centers on feeling heard, relaxed and well put together from arrival to departure. Services currently listed are men's and women's haircuts, blowouts, and styling sessions that cover curls, beach waves and sleek straight looks. Clients who want a wet cut need to arrive with freshly washed hair, since the services take place at pop-up locations.

The salon also hosts pop-ups for residential buildings and works with salons and spas on partnerships. It is recruiting hair stylists and other beauty professionals, including manicurists, estheticians, makeup artists, lash and brow artists and spray tan technicians. Gift certificates are available for $100.

Stylists build their work on balance, precision and layering, and offer customization and texturizing.
