Owner Tiva, a licensed cosmetologist, opened Only For Divas Salon in October 2018 at 4928 Broadway. The salon describes itself as a one-stop shop for hair, nails, lashes, facials and makeup, so clients can handle several services in one place.

The salon is laid out in two sides. Hair stylists work on one side, while lash techs, nail techs and a shampoo area are on the other. It is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and closed on Sunday. Hours vary by stylist and tech availability.

Appointments can be booked online through the Book With Tiva page. Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before the service; later cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled cost. Deposits are non-refundable, and one reschedule is allowed with the same deposit. Appointments more than 20 minutes late are cancelled, and clients are notified by text if a stylist is running late.

Online orders can be picked up in the salon. The shop sells hair products and wigs, including hair oil, edge control, bonnets, bundles and lashes. Hair products such as bonnets, hair ties and edge control cannot be returned for sanitary reasons.

The salon presents customer service as a core part of each visit, with clients greeted warmly from the start.
