Each visit starts with a look at the client's features, hair characteristics and personal style before any cutting or color. French press coffee is served during every hair service, along with coffee from Coava and Heart Coffee and loose leaf tea from Fox Fire's Teas. Clients go home with professional products and maintenance tips, and the team suggests a weekly diluted apple cider vinegar rinse as a hair and scalp cleanse.

The salon works with all hair types and focuses on curls and natural texture. Curly cuts are offered in a standard version and a version for long or thick curls, along with coil cuts for 4A, 4B and 4C textures. The team describes curl patterns as waves, curls and coils, and explains that curl texture (fine, medium or coarse) is the main factor in choosing products. Vibrant or fashion color begins with a consultation, and extension installation requires an extension consultation first.

Consultations for first-time major chemical or extension services are complimentary and last 15 minutes. All over blonding requires one before booking, and new clients need one before an all over blonde retouch. Cancellations made 24 hours or more ahead carry no charge, cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full appointment price, and emergency cancellations within 12 hours are charged 50 percent. The salon says it values clients' time and aims for stress-free appointments.

Each cut and color is planned around the client's features, hair characteristics and personal style. The aim is a look that holds for weeks after the appointment.
