Nail health comes first. The salon aims to keep clients' natural nails intact while helping them look and feel their best, and its services are built around safety, wellness and long-term nail care. Equipment is disinfected with hospital-grade disinfectant and sterilized in a medical-grade autoclave after each use, and files, buffers and wood sticks are single-use. The salon does not work on or remove acrylic, hard gel, gel builder or anything that requires a drill, but says it can help clients strengthen their nails and move away from acrylic. Technicians may decline a service if they believe there is a risk of fungal or bacterial infection, and clients are welcome to ask about sanitation practices.

The menu runs from a basic manicure and a Boujee manicure, which includes an in-house organic Himalayan scrub, to Gel-X sets and a range of pedicures. Pedicures range from a 30-minute express option to a reflexology pedicure built on a Himalayan stone technique, and a Thera pedicure. Wellness pedicures for complex foot and nail needs are performed by a Certified Master Pedicurist, who completes advanced training at the North American School of Podology, and begin with a health history and foot analysis followed by a customized plan. Bridal packages, add-ons, and manicures and pedicures for children under 10 are also offered, and gift cards are available.

Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 10AM to 7PM, Friday 9AM to 6PM and Saturday 9AM to 3PM, with the salon closed Sunday and Monday. The phone number is 630-345-6179, and large group event inquiries are handled by email at mgmt@onpointnail.com. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged half the scheduled service price, and no-shows are charged the full price of the missed appointment. If no card is on file, a cancellation fee must be paid before another service can be booked. Polish guarantees cover 3 days of wear for regular polish, 5 days for Dazzle Dry and 8 days for no chip polish, and chips within the guarantee period are fixed at no stated charge when clients call the salon.
