Oishi Studio is a private hair studio on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, founded in 2024 by Rion, its stylist and colorist. The studio books one-on-one appointments rather than running a busy floor, so each visit has the stylist's full attention.

About

The menu covers women's haircuts, bang trims, blow dries and styling, root touch-ups, single process color, partial and full highlights, balayage, and gloss or toner. A deep conditioning treatment is available as an add-on to a cut or color appointment; it is a four-step Japanese treatment from Milbon that comes with a month-long at-home care routine. Visit lengths vary, from about 20 minutes for a bang trim to around 3 hours 30 minutes or more for highlights and balayage.

The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday. Parking options include three-hour metered street parking on 6th or Wilshire, and weekday building parking entered from 6th at $2 per hour, cash, with validation.

Pairs technical precision with a relaxed, polished finish and tailors hair care to each client.
