Ohio Cryo is a Dublin spa offering cryotherapy for health, wellness, recovery and beauty. The salon presents its treatments as technologically advanced and natural, and it calls itself the premier cryotherapy spa in Columbus. According to its FAQ, Dr. Yamaguchi of Japan originally devised the full-body form of cryotherapy in the late 1970s.

Whole body cryotherapy takes place in a cryosauna called the Black Octagon. A session lasts three minutes, with the client in nitrogen vapor cooled to around -200 degrees. Listed levels run from Level 1 at 140 degrees to Level 2 at 160 degrees and Level 3 at 180 to 200 degrees, each for three minutes. The chamber is open at the top and the door is not locked, and a technician stays in contact with the client throughout. Clients change into undergarments and receive warm mittens, slippers and a robe, with the head kept outside the chamber. Socks, gloves and undergarments are recommended to protect the extremities. Because sessions are dry, no shower is needed before or after. The business welcomes adults of any age and energy level.

Cryoskin offers CryoFacial sessions, a CryoFacial with chin slimming, and slimming and toning sessions, performed on 3.0 and 4.0 devices manufactured in Italy. The business says it was the first location in Ohio to offer Cryoskin and that it is the only Elite Certified Master Training Center for Cryoskin in Ohio. Other services include HIEMT muscle sculpting, Endosphères Therapy for the face and body, HydraFacial MD treatments, Normatec compression, Celluma and Platinum LED red light, infrared sauna and the Cocoon Wellness Pod.

Memberships and packages are available. Club Cryo renews every 30 days and can be cancelled at any time with at least 10 days' notice by email. Elite Unlimited offers daily access. Club Cryo members receive 25% off Cryoskin and Endosphères packages. Parties, groups and team visits are arranged by email at contact@ohiocryo.com, where corporate pricing is also available. All sales are final and the business does not offer refunds. The studio is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 7pm and Friday to Sunday 9am to 6pm.
