The spa says its aim is affordable luxury in a calm setting, along with helping clients build a healthier lifestyle. It describes itself as named Best of New York and Best of Westchester, and calls its services award-winning. The Park Avenue location says New York Magazine named it Best of New York and that it is the Best Value Spa. The Westchester location says Westchester Magazine named it Best of Westchester and that it received a Spa of the Decade recognition. These are the spa's own claims.
Facials run from a 30-minute express treatment to a 75-minute lift with LED light. Options include an Éminence organic facial, an oxygen renewal facial with enzyme exfoliation and oxygen infusion, an antioxidant facial using Vitamin C, seaweed and an organic mud mask, and a stem cell facial built on Swiss apple technology. An Oasis Teen Facial is made for teenage skin with acne. The spa is a Hydrafacial provider and offers Express, Signature, Deluxe and Platinum levels; the Platinum version adds lymphatic drainage to the Deluxe steps. Add-ons such as dermaplaning, diamond microdermabrasion with oxygen infusion, microcurrent firming (suggested as a series of 5 to 10 sessions), LED light, peels and eye or lip treatments can be added to most facials.
Body treatments include full body scrubs and wraps performed on a multi-showerhead European Vichy shower. A Body Hydrating Wrap with honey and aloe is suited to sensitive skin. The Oasis Purity Wrap uses seaweeds, kelps and peppermint oil and is suited to all skin types. The Body Detox Contouring Treatment is a 90-minute scrub and wrap using mint, seaweed and caffeine. The Oasis Purity Wrap and the Body Detox Contouring Treatment contain iodine and are not recommended during pregnancy or nursing. Massage options include Swedish, deep tissue, sports, lava stone, aromatherapy, clinical massage for chronic pain tied to specific medical conditions and injuries, and prenatal massage after the first trimester. The signature Muscle Meltdown massage uses moist heat packs, a pain-relieving gel and cool marble stones. Waxing uses a soft wax for larger areas and a French hard wax for smaller areas and Brazilian work, and is formulated for sensitive skin.
Booking details matter here. A major credit card holds a reservation, and online bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Gift card payments, side-by-side couples massage and the seasonal rooftop massage at Westchester must be booked by phone. Clients should arrive at least 20 minutes early, and changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are billed in full. Spa packages cover one client on one day, cannot be combined with other discounts, and are charged at individual prices if used on separate days. The Frequent User Series offers up to 20% off, with bigger discounts for more services. Tranquility Flow Yoga is held on Mondays and Thursdays at the Park Avenue location. UNSEEN Medical Aesthetics, a practice founded by a nurse practitioner, works from Suite Fl #4 in Dobbs Ferry as an independent provider; the spa has no endorsement of or responsibility for services booked through it.
