Oak Tree Dermatology has two offices: one in Pomona, just off the 10 Freeway across from Pomona Valley Hospital, and one in Riverside. The practice sees patients of all ages for skin, hair and nail concerns, from infants and teenagers to adults. Its services are grouped into medical, pediatric, surgical, cosmetic and telemedicine dermatology, along with a wound care clinic.

Medical dermatology covers prescriptions, full-body mole checks, skin biopsies, liquid nitrogen treatment, skin cancer surgery, and wart and molluscum treatment. Conditions addressed include skin cancer, acne, eczema, alopecia areata, psoriasis, hives, cold sores, boils and styes. Surgical dermatology adds regular skin screenings for patients at higher risk, aimed at catching precancerous lesions early. Telemedicine visits are available to new and existing patients during business hours, from home or work, on a web-based, HIPAA compliant platform used on a computer, tablet or phone. Visits can address concerns such as acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and medication refills, and once a treatment plan is set, prescriptions can be sent directly to the patient's pharmacy. The practice says that for some patients a virtual visit costs less than an insurance copayment for an in-person visit.

This wound care clinic treats patients with acute and chronic wounds, among them foot ulcers linked to diabetes, bedsores, venous ulcers, wounds after surgery, injury-related wounds and skin lesions that have not healed. Services cover wound assessment and diagnosis, allograft therapy, debridement with specialized dressings, bioengineered and regenerative solutions, and home-care instruction so patients can look after their wounds between visits. According to the practice, all care is provided in-house, so patients should not need outside referrals.
