Nymph Beauty is a studio in Shawnee Hills focused on lash extensions and waxing. Appointments are required for every service, and the studio is open Thursday through Sunday, with Monday through Wednesday closed.

Clients can choose classic lashes, with one extension per natural lash for a natural look, volume lashes, with three to seven extensions per natural lash for a fuller and bolder effect, or hybrid lashes that mix the two styles. Extensions typically last about six to eight weeks and are filled every two to three weeks.

Waxing removes hair from the root, and results usually last about four weeks. The studio uses a resin-free honey soft wax for thin to medium hair and a hard wax blended with lavender and tourmaline for coarser hair and sensitive skin. Some discomfort is normal, and a topical numbing spray is available. Ingrown hairs are addressed at every waxing visit. New waxing clients usually return every four weeks, and regular clients may stretch that to six or eight weeks.

Home care is part of the service. For lashes, clients brush their extensions morning and night, clean them each night with lash shampoo, and avoid oil-based products. The lashes are waterproof, so after swimming they should simply be blotted dry. For waxed skin, the studio recommends cool water and a gentle soap, plus gentle exfoliation two to three times a week to help reduce ingrown hairs.

Booking comes with a few policies to know. Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations carry a 25% fee, and no-shows are charged 50% of the service. Clients with unpaid cancellation or no-show fees cannot book again until the balance is cleared. There is a 10-minute grace period for all services, and later arrivals may not be able to receive their scheduled appointment.
