About

NuYu Body Sculpting works from its Wilmington location and offers treatments for both women and men. Services are grouped into body slimming, lift and tighten, face and neck, post-operative care, and athletic and sports recovery, and the business also runs an online shop with training courses.

According to the salon, its treatments are non-invasive, painless, non-surgical and involve no downtime. A 10-minute whole-body vibration massage, meant to encourage lymphatic drainage, follows every body treatment.

Laser lipo is the technique the salon calls its most popular body sculpting option. A one-year laser lipo membership costs $280 and includes the first two treatments, after which members pay $60 per session. Membership covers up to eight treatments a month, no more than two per week per body area, and is for one person only. Covered areas include thighs, abdomen, buttocks, back, arms, chin, cheeks, flanks and bra roll, and each area is booked as its own appointment. Initial laser lipo consultations are held before 3 pm daily, and that consultation fee is waived when the membership is bought. Members also receive $25 off any other service, though that discount cannot be combined with other offers.

New clients need an initial consultation, which costs $25 and is waived if a treatment package is bought the same day. Many treatments require a consultation before booking. Work-out attire and undergarments without underwire are recommended for visits.

The face and skin menu includes a 14k gold-infused LED laser facial, a GHK-Cu copper peptide facial, a Glow Getter facial with micro exfoliation, microdermabrasion or radio frequency options, and a superficial BHA and AHA peel the business recommends once a month. The business states that HIFU results build over two to three months and may last three years or longer with maintenance every eight to twelve months.

The business describes its methods as technology based and naturally holistic, aiming to work with the body's own healing and to offer detoxifying and relaxation benefits.
