Nubian Impressions books appointments online. New booking windows open on the 25th of each month at 9am. If no time suits you, you can join the waitlist through a form on the website and be contacted if a cancellation opens a spot.

To secure an appointment, clients pay a $30 non-refundable deposit plus a $3 service fee. The $30 deposit goes toward the appointment balance. Clients have a 15-minute grace period after their start time before the appointment can be cancelled, a $15 late fee applies after that, and arriving more than 20 minutes late can mean cancellation with the full service fee charged.

Cancellations and postponements need at least 24 hours' notice. A deposit is not transferable if the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours ahead. One reschedule can be made using the prior deposit, but the new appointment must be booked within 72 hours of the cancellation. Same-day cancellations are charged the full service fee.

Braiding requires hair at least 3 inches long, shampooed, blown out and detangled before the visit. If detangling and extra blow drying are needed, a $25 inconvenience fee applies. Appointment times are estimates, since hair texture, special requests and other factors can change how long a style takes. Any service lasting more than 4 hours includes a break.

Shades 1, 1B, 2 and 4 are kept in stock at the salon. Other shades can be ordered for an extra charge. Two subscription plans exist: one includes shampoo, and the other does not.
