Nu Med describes itself as a concierge medical practice that brings medical, wellness and aesthetic care together. It has two offices, one on 7th Street in Garden City and one on Broadcast Plaza in Merrick. The team includes nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, registered nurses and licensed estheticians, led by founder and Clinical Director Chrissy Scavo.

Aesthetic treatments are grouped into injectables, lasers, skin, body and hair. Injectable options include Botox for fine lines and wrinkles, most often on the forehead, between the brows and at the outer eyes, along with dermal fillers, Sculptra and PDO threads. Lip Flip uses Botox to add a subtle lift to the upper lip as an alternative to lip filler. Laser options include Aerolase, Tetra CO2 and CoolPeel lasers, and a PicoSure Focus treatment for tattoos, acne scars, age spots, freckles and sun damage. Skin services include facials, chemical peels, hydrafacials, PRF EZ Gel and microneedling with radiofrequency. Body services include HIFU cavitation for skin tightening and fat reduction, lymphatic massage, and sclerotherapy for spider veins.

Beyond aesthetics, the practice offers primary care: full physical exams, wellness exams that look into a specific health concern, sick visits for acute illness, and follow-up care. Insurance is not accepted for these visits, though the practice will work with private insurance carriers on reimbursement for eligible patients, excluding Medicaid and Medicare. Home visits are available to current patients who have established care and have had a change in health or need. Wellness offerings include bioidentical hormone therapy for adults 35 and older, weight loss treatment using semaglutide and levocarnitine, EBO2, red light therapy, IV drips and vitamin booster shots. Testing options include a biological age test measuring more than 180 blood biomarkers, a cancer detecting blood test, Dutch testing, and food tolerance and sensitivity testing.

Nu Med Academy trains medical professionals in advanced aesthetic injection techniques, and the practice also offers training for providers. Payment is flexible: online payment plans are available, along with Cherry financing and Afterpay. Gift cards can be bought online as eGift cards in set amounts or a custom amount, and group gift cards let several people pool money for one recipient. Rewards points are earned at checkout and can be applied to a later purchase, with sign-up available by QR code, link or at the front desk.
