The Nu-Living Programs include concierge medicine, Zerona, bioidentical hormone replacement for women and men, functional medicine, anti-aging and age management, and weight loss management. Weight plans are tailored to health history, goals, lifestyle and any underlying conditions, and may combine lifestyle changes with prescription medication, hormone therapy or metabolic boosters, plus behavioral counseling for emotional eating and cravings.
The concierge membership is an annual program with a fee paid to the practice's PLLC and a limited number of members. Members can usually get same-day or next-day appointments, have direct access to Dr. Terlinsky by phone, email and text at any hour, and use a secure online patient portal. Blood work is drawn in the office, care is given by a physician rather than a nurse or nurse practitioner, and the practice helps coordinate with specialists. The business says its concierge phones are answered by live staff rather than a recording.
Basic office visits, annual physicals and typical diagnostic tests are billed to insurance by Alan S. Terlinsky MD PC, which has contracts with many insurers including Medicare. Nu-Living's PLLC has no insurance or Medicare contracts, and concierge membership services are not billed to insurance or Medicare. The membership is not a health insurance plan and does not guarantee eligibility for flex accounts or HSAs.
The skin menu covers facials for the face, neck and decolletage, extractions, chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion, galvanic current, high-frequency and radiofrequency skin tightening. Waxing uses honey wax, and brow and lash tinting is offered as a longer-lasting color. Makeup lessons cover color selection and placement, and makeup application is available for bridal and special occasions. An aesthetic consultation with the aesthetician reviews skin condition and realistic expectations before treatment.
New patients begin with a short phone conversation about their current health so the team can recommend the program that fits. Concierge members receive a personalized wellness plan built with newer technologies, tests and screening tools.
