NovaStem is a women-owned clinic focused on stem cell treatments for hair loss and sparse eyebrows. It has two locations: one on East 62nd Street in Manhattan and one on Franklin Avenue in Garden City, Long Island.

Hair restoration uses a set of targeted stem cell injections, three to five in total, given by a nurse practitioner if the client is found to be a suitable candidate. The clinic also offers a proprietary treatment called the EX-H Shot, which it says contains stem cells, growth factors, microRNA and other components. Its home page describes the stem cell treatment as containing growth factors, cytokines and extracellular vesicles.

Every visit starts with a free 30-minute consultation that includes an examination of the scalp under an electronic microscope. After hair restoration, the team creates a personalized at-home routine intended to maintain growth.

Eyebrow restoration places stem cell injections into the areas the client wants filled, following a consultation and brow design. The procedure takes 20 minutes or less. The clinic offers it as an alternative to tattooing, microblading and other invasive methods, and it is intended for overplucked or naturally thin brows, scarring or trauma in the brow area, hair loss from conditions such as alopecia, and adding brow shape and fullness. According to the clinic, new growth typically starts within 3 to 4 months, with full results in 6 to 9 months.

Financing is available through Cherry, with some plans at 0% APR subject to eligibility and others that carry interest. The example plans shown are $187.50 every two weeks for six weeks at 0% APR, and $34.84 per month for 24 months with a $34.84 minimum down payment. The clinic notes these are examples only and that exact terms depend on credit and other factors.

The clinic describes its approach as based on science, transparency and personalized care. It says its hair treatment promotes natural regrowth without surgery, medications or downtime.
