Nourish

Nourish opened in 2011 and was founded by Elizabeth Kamara, who is also its owner and nail artist. The studio focuses on natural nails and on waterless manicures and pedicures, so there is no soaking step for hands or feet.

A visit takes place in a one-on-one studio that holds up to four clients, with one client served at a time and services run back to back. Each client sits in a heated recliner, companions can wait on a couch, and complimentary drinks and snacks are offered during the appointment.

The menu has four services in two groups. The Mini Manicure and The Mini Pedicure cover trimming, shaping, cuticle cleanup and a natural buff or polish, while The Whole Shebang versions add sugar scrubs, lotion and paraffin wax dips, with warm mitts or booties. The studio uses Dazzle Dry polish, which dries in about five minutes, along with classic OPI polish and low-toxic, essential oil based products. It does not do nail art, French or Russian manicures, and it does not apply or remove shellac, gel or other artificial enhancements.

Careful, gentle care of natural hands and feet, done without soaking, with guidance on keeping them up at home between visits.
