First-time clients are asked to schedule a consultation ahead of any service. The salon's offerings cover starter locs, loc upkeep, and work on loose natural hair. Consultations take place on a different day from appointments. When a consultation shows a client is a suitable fit for the service they requested, the consultation fee is applied to the balance of their next appointment.

Before an appointment, hair should be at least 3 inches long and fully detangled and taken down. Clients are also asked to mention any scalp sensitivities or concerns in advance. Results and service times depend on hair condition and how well the hair is maintained between visits.

Because space is limited, additional guests are not allowed unless the business approves them ahead of time. Deposits hold the appointment slot and are non-refundable, though they may be moved to a new date when rescheduling with proper notice.
