Ninotch started in 1996 in Bethesda as Maryland Massage Therapy Center, focused on therapeutic massage. Skin care was added over the following decade, and the business took the Ninotch name in 2008. Tatiana Tchamouroff opened the Bethesda location and now owns the business as its head therapist, with a second studio in Tysons Corner.

Organic airbrush tanning without the sun has been on offer here since 2007. By the business's account, it was among the first organic airbrush tanning providers in the US and the first in the DC Metro Area to provide sunless airbrush tans, and it has completed more than 50,000 tans. Washingtonian Magazine gave it the Best of Washington award for organic airbrush tanning in 2012 and 2013. From 2007 to 2012 it was the massage therapy provider for the Washington Nationals. From 2008 to 2010 it was the official airbrush tanning sponsor of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, and it also sponsored the Washington Wizard Girls in 2009 and 2010. Massage therapy covers Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, cupping, Graston Technique, myofascial release and CBD massage. Acupuncture uses needles as the main method with moxibustion as a secondary method. Skin care includes the HydraFacial at $215 (30 minutes or more), and the Radiance and Restorative HydraFacials at $295 each (45 minutes or more). The Radiance version uses Britenol and the Restorative version uses Dermabuilder. Other facials include European Deep Clean, Men's Sports, Be Clear Acne, Ninotch Signature Customized, dermaplaning, microderm and Micro-Channeling (ProCell system, $375 per hour), plus a 30-minute On The Run Mini-Facial at $85. Skin care packages are available, and the business says it can personalize a program and recommend home serums. Waxing is offered for men and women across the face, body and bikini areas, and the business says its waxing is performed only by licensed estheticians. Lash and brow services include full-set extensions, touch-ups at 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks, tinting, lash lifts, perms and removal.

Floatation therapy is offered in two private rooms at Tysons Corner, each with an open pool of about 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt in just under a foot of water kept near 94 degrees. A solo float costs $160 for 60 minutes or $220 for 90 minutes, and a tandem float for two costs $240 or $320. Packages are good for one year and for individual use only. Sessions require prepayment or a package and a signed waiver, and guests under 18 need a legal guardian present. Swimsuits are not needed in the private rooms. Bethesda is at 7768 Woodmont Avenue, Suite 201, above a Starbucks, with street and garage parking. Tysons Corner is at 1800 Tysons Boulevard in McLean, with parking entered from the Founding Farmers P1 level or the 1800 P3 level. Hours vary slightly by location, and appointments outside listed hours can be requested at both.
