Nine 19 Salon presents itself as a textured hair salon and describes itself as a space dedicated to locs and natural hair. It serves loose and locked hair for men, women and children, and offers loc and natural hair services alongside styling, chemical, treatment and extension services.
Treatments are added to a booking through the add-on menu, and same-day appointments carry a same-day fee added the same way.
Arriving at the suite, clients call their stylist, who lets them in. Children are welcome to attend appointments with a parent, and one extra guest is allowed per appointment because space is limited, with mothers able to bring their children.
Booking terms are firm. Deposits are non-refundable, and appointments can be cancelled or moved up to 24 hours ahead. Cancelling inside that window carries a $50 charge applied to the next appointment. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late have their appointment cancelled, and clients who neither call nor show can no longer book. The salon reserves the right to refuse service.
