NC Lashes was founded in 2018 and is based in Norwalk. Alongside its lash and brow work, the studio offers tooth gems, tarot card readings, a 30-minute mini astrology reading and reiki sessions. The studio describes its space as tidy, well organized and polished.

Nicole learned lash extensions through a course she took while babysitting and attending school. She kept babysitting until she felt ready to make lash work her full-time job, and she now owns the studio and does the lash work herself.

Clients are asked to come alone, without extra people. Arriving late results in an extra $15 charge, and appointments are canceled if a client is more than 15 minutes late. No-call, no-show and last-minute cancellations are charged full price. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The studio is open Monday 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10 am to 7 pm, Friday 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and is closed on Sundays.

For brows, brow tinting is a semi-permanent color that adds definition to natural brow hairs for up to 4 to 6 weeks, and it fades from the skin in about 1 to 2 weeks. Brow lamination straightens natural brow hair for a fuller look, and brow perfection combines lamination, custom shaping and tinting in one visit.

For lashes, the menu runs from lifts and tints to several extension styles. A lash lift curls natural lashes and lasts up to 6 to 8 weeks, and adding a tint extends the color for about a month. Full sets range from a classic set with one extension per natural lash to hybrid, wet look and volume styles, and a refill is booked when enough natural lashes remain. Otherwise the visit is booked as a full set.

The studio focuses on customized lash and brow work, with a lift that is adjustable and aims to protect the natural lash.
