Newberry School of Beauty

Newberry School of Beauty trains students for beauty and barbering careers at its Granada Hills campus. Its listed programs are cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, barber crossover, hairstyling and manicuring, and the school states that it offers a wide range of courses across the beauty and barbering industry.

Members of the public can book services at the school's salon, which is open weekdays from 10:00am to 8:00pm and closed on weekends. Every service is performed by a student working under instructor supervision. Hair prices cover short hair, shoulder length or shorter, and longer hair carries an extra charge. The manicurist program is 400 hours and runs 13 to 20 weeks on a 3-month day schedule or a 5-month day or evening schedule, and its total cost is not listed.
