Consultations are for learning, so patients can ask questions and get recommendations from the surgeons and nurses, and candidacy for a procedure is decided in that consultation, either virtually or in person.

Insurance is central to how the practice works. The Massapequa office accepts Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Emblem PPO, Magnacare, NYSHIP, Oxford and UnitedHealthcare, and does not accept HealthFirst, Metroplus or Fidelis Medicaid/Exchange plans.

Patients who travel to New York for surgery can use the practice's out-of-town resources and travel page. The practice says patients come from across the country, and each procedure has before and after photos in the gallery.
