New Touch Beauty Spa works out of a suite on South Cobb Drive in Smyrna. The menu is organized into body treatments, facials, head spa, post-op massage and tape, and training classes for people who want to learn some of the work themselves.

About

Body treatments include Suana Wrap, EndermoTherapy, laser lipo or radio frequency, non-surgical butt lift vacuum therapy, wood therapy, a fibrosis treatment, and butt enhancement with a cellulite treatment, most running 30 to 45 minutes. The Instant Mommy Makeover is a two-hour treatment, which the salon describes as having no downtime. According to the salon, butt enhancement results are permanent, with 6 to 12 sessions recommended alongside a steady diet and exercise routine.

The facial menu runs from a teen facial for ages 13 to 17 through dermaplaning, diamond dermabrasion, lymphatic buccal facials, a classic basic facial, a back facial for women or men, an acne facial, The Gold Facial, and a men's signature facial. An all-in-one service combines diamond dermabrasion, ultrasonic and high frequency treatments in one and a half hours, and a chemical peel is also available. Each visit starts with a skin analysis performed by a licensed esthetician, according to the salon, and facials are suggested about once a month depending on skin type.

Head spa is a scalp treatment of about an hour that includes a scrub, wash, exfoliation, mask, steam, and a massage of the head, upper chest, shoulders and neck. It can be combined with a mini, dermaplane or buccal facial. The service does not include styling, coloring, extensions or take-downs. It works on all hair types and locs but does not retwist locs or work on braids or extensions, and clients cannot bring their own products. Hair is towel dried afterward, with a blow dryer available for self service, and a shower cap, ponytail holder, brushes, combs and edge control are provided.

Post-op services include massage in standard and deluxe versions, tape application, tape removal, a tape method for one or two areas, and mobile post-op appointments. Post-op incisions are not reopened and drains are not removed, and massage can still be done with incisions open or drains in place. Lymphatic massage is recommended right after surgery, with 10 or more sessions suggested. Packages pair multiple massages with a waist belt, tape or faja, and a faja can be bought at 15 percent off on the same day as a post-op massage or deluxe appointment.

Instruction is one-to-one, covering body contouring, dermaplaning facials, head spa, and post-op massage with taping. The hands-on head spa session lasts four hours. Attendees receive a completion credential, a supplier directory, study notes, client intake forms, a bag of gifts, marketing and branding resources, and a practice model; the owner picks the models.

Appointments require a non-refundable online deposit of $50, and a separate deposit is needed for each service when two are booked. Class deposits are $100, also non-refundable, and go toward the balance due on the day. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice, and a same-day change forfeits the deposit. Only one reschedule is allowed per appointment, classes cannot be rescheduled, and no-call, no-show clients cannot book again. Clients are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to sign in and complete paperwork, and body treatment clients should arrive already showered. Late arrivals may still be seen, though the service may be shortened. Same-day bookings are accepted with the full balance invoiced for payment before arrival.
