The studio puts the health of the natural hair underneath a style ahead of the finished look. Before recommending a service, the team considers hair condition, scalp, density, length, styling history and the tension a style would require. It may suggest a different approach, extra preparation, a consultation or waiting when a request could stress the hair, and it will say so when a service isn't suitable for the hair's current condition. The studio also teaches healthy-hair care, covering preparation, tension, maintenance, takedown, scalp care and how often protective styles should be installed. It does not diagnose or treat medical scalp or hair-loss conditions and refers those to a healthcare professional.
Visits are booked online through the studio's own booking system, and a non-refundable deposit secures each appointment and goes toward the final balance. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Clients arrive with clean, detangled, blow-dried hair unless told otherwise, and prep instructions come with the booking confirmation. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and late arrivals get a 10-minute grace period.
Services are grouped into consultations, loc services, memberships, natural hair, promotions, protective styles and re-touches. Loc work ranges from a detox and style-only visit to retwists, repairs and starter locs. Memberships come in four monthly tiers that include service credits and discounts on add-ons.
