Nectar & Nude was created by Adriana Gomez-Flores and opened in November 2025. The studio sits in a suite inside Pixie and Prim on Wilson Ave SW in Grandville, just off 28th Street, and it is open Tuesday through Saturday with shorter Saturday hours and closed Sunday and Monday.
The studio specializes in soft wax and sugar, with each service tailored to the individual client. Its stated aim is to be a safe and welcoming space for clients of any size, body type or ethnicity.
Services are grouped into sugar, waxing, brow and lash. Brow lamination and Korean lash lift cover the brow and lash side, while Brazilian and full body options are offered in both wax and sugar.
Visits are booked in advance and the studio asks for 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Clients can be serviced during their period; the studio's FAQ suggests using a fresh tampon, disc or cup and taking Tylenol 30 minutes beforehand. Children are welcome if the client lets the studio know in advance, and the suite is kept to the client only.
Soft wax and sugar are tailored to each client, with a stated aim of making every visitor feel safe and welcome regardless of size, body type or ethnicity.
