NC Nails

NC Nails has two locations: one at 62 E Grand Ave in Fox Lake and one at 4218 N. Johsburg Road in Johnsburg. The Fox Lake location keeps its own schedule, open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Thursday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday.

The menu is built around nails and pedicures. The Gel Polish Manicure covers nail shaping, gentle cuticle care, and gel polish cured under an LED light, and the salon says that gel polish from this service stays glossy and smudge free for weeks. For feet, the classic pedicure is the longest standard option at one hour, with a warm soak, nail trimming and shaping, cuticle care, exfoliating scrub, callus buffing, massage and nail lacquer. A shorter express pedicure takes 40 minutes and includes a brief soak, nail shaping, exfoliating scrub and polish. The gel polish pedicure runs 1 hour 15 minutes and adds LED-cured gel polish to everything in the classic service.

A men's pedicure is also offered. It takes 45 minutes and includes a warm soak, nail trimming and shaping, cuticle detailing, callus buffing with an exfoliating scrub, and a foot and calf massage.
