Natural Skin Care Systems

Natural Skin Care Systems was founded in 1981 by Paula Roseann Anzilotti and is located on Ogden Avenue in Lisle, one block east of Naper Boulevard. The practice serves clients from Lisle, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Westmont, Woodridge, Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Aurora, as well as surrounding areas. Many clients have been coming for generations in the Naperville and Lisle community.

Electrolysis is the main service, offered for permanent hair removal on areas including the brows, chin, lip, jaw line and sides of the face, breast and underarms, abdomen, bikini line, legs and back. The practice also uses a shortwave (thermolysis) electrolysis method. Sessions run from about 15 minutes to more than an hour depending on the area. The number of visits varies by client, and deeper coarse hairs may need more treatments. Because hair grows in cycles, permanent clearing usually takes more than one appointment.

Electrolysis is paired with holistic skin care. The practice began offering skin care products for home use after repeated client requests for recommendations, and products are suited to each client's skin and treatment plan. Complimentary consultations are offered for both permanent hair removal and skin care, so prospective clients can talk through their goals before booking.

Treatments and consultations are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. Late arrivals are charged from the originally scheduled time, and appointments may not be extended. Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Rates vary by type and length of treatment, so clients are asked to call the office to discuss their needs. Payment is due at the visit, with cash and checks accepted. The practice is a member of the American Electrology Association and the Electrology Association of Illinois.
