The salon says its experience differs from a typical wig shop or online retailer. Wigs are fitted to the individual, including custom fit for petite and large head sizes, and the cap is adjusted to the contour of the head with the wig in place. Alterations are handled by the salon, and clients are asked not to change wigs themselves or take them to an outside seamstress. Color matching can be done in a private one-on-one consultation or remotely using video calls, emailed photos or Facebook.

Head shaving is offered at no charge in a private setting with no rush, and clients who prefer can keep their hair short instead, which the salon calls a little boy's buzz cut. For wigs, the salon offers cutting, styling and custom coloring for natural human hair, with a consultation to settle on a shade and gentle, top-grade dyes. A complimentary first steaming treatment is included for anyone who has bought a wig from the salon, and the salon advises against sleeping, showering or swimming in a wig.

Services are private and one-on-one, with consultations held before wig selection, fitting and color matching.
