Natural Illumination has been serving clients in Newport Beach since 2010, from its suite at 220 Newport Center Drive. The business describes its goal as high-quality work delivered with a warm, personal approach.

The skin care team includes two registered nurses. Jenifer Brown is a registered nurse and skin care specialist, and Danielle Miller is a registered nurse and licensed aesthetician.

Visits are by appointment, booked online or by phone at 949-891-0599. Aftercare guidance is part of each treatment. After dermaplaning, clients are asked to wear SPF 30+ daily to the treated area for at least two weeks, avoid direct sun and tanning beds right away, and skip vigorous exercise until redness fades. Around peels and microdermabrasion, clients are asked to avoid waxing, electrolysis and laser for five days on either side, and to steer clear of AHA, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and retinoid products. After a facial peel, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, swimming and heavy sweating are avoided for two days. Makeup can go on 15 minutes after treatment, and the skin is encouraged to rest without makeup on the day of the procedure. Dermaplaning is not offered to clients with conditions such as active acne, rosacea, eczema, recent chemical peels, moles or sunburn.
