Newer clients can start with a consultation. The New Client Loc Consultation (30 minutes, $40) covers a scalp and hair assessment, sizing, parting options, what maintenance will involve and a demonstration. The Micro Install Locs Consultation (45 minutes, $75) includes a scalp evaluation, a grid planning overview and a live micro loc demonstration. The Scalp Readiness Consultation (30 minutes, $75) reviews hair and scalp concerns, hair history and current routine. The business notes that this consultation is not a medical diagnosis, and clients may be encouraged to seek evaluation from a board-certified dermatologist.

Treatments run from a 15-minute customized deep conditioner to longer sessions. Options include a hot oil scalp massage, a turmeric scalp and hair mask with a gentle rinse, steam with conditioning for dry, brittle hair (with or without a blow dry) and an apple cider vinegar and baking soda cleanse. Protective style removal includes basic shampoo and conditioner, and pricing can vary with the style's type, size, length and condition. Lash services include classic sets with one extension per natural lash, hybrid sets that combine single extensions with lightweight fans, and volume sets with handmade lightweight fans. Fills replace shed lashes and fill sparse areas, and pricing can vary with lash condition and the time since the last appointment.

Stylists can also train with the studio. Natural Hair Intensive is a private 5-hour session for experienced stylists at $599, where students choose from microlocs, interlocing, loc repair, braiding and other techniques, with demonstration and hands-on practice. Its next session is listed as to be announced, and it is limited to a few students each time. Microlocs 101 is a 2-day course covering consultation, texture and density assessment, maintenance and retightening, and business resources, with post-training support. It is offered through a waitlist.

Most services require a nonrefundable retainer that is applied toward the total cost. Services that include hair require an additional nonrefundable hair retainer. Barbering, such as fades or shaping the sides, is not provided and must be booked separately.

Care starts with understanding the hair and scalp, through a consultation that reviews history and routine before loc or braid work. The studio sets clear expectations about maintenance and recommends micro loc retightening every 4 to 6 weeks.
