Crochet dreadlocking can start locs on straight hair and loose curl textures under six inches, a process that takes about six hours. Micro-braidlocs start at $425, and loc reattachment is available for the top half of the head or the full head. Maintenance covers retwists, interlock maintenance, and sister loc or microloc retightening, with a visit recommended every four to six weeks or as needed. The business says locs are economical, needing few styling tools between visits. Hair must be at least 1.5 inches long to start comb coil locs, and 2 to 3 inches long to start locs with extensions.
