Nakd Beauty is a cosmetic tattooing studio in Tempe that concentrates on brows. Owner and artist Emily Wilson opened it in 2018, after two years working as a wax specialist. The studio describes itself as one of Arizona's premier cosmetic tattooing studios.

Brow services include hair stroke brows (microblading or nano brows), shading (powder brows), and a combination of the two. New clients begin with an Initial Session, about 3 hours 30 minutes, which includes a consultation to choose the method that fits their brow goals. It costs $800, with a $50 nonrefundable deposit at booking and $750 due at the appointment. A Touch Up, about 2 hours, perfects healed brows after an Initial Session and costs $100. A Color Boost / Refresher, about 2 hours 30 minutes, is for existing clients whose brows have faded at least 50%, typically every 2 to 3 years, and costs $400.

Visits are by appointment only. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, with the studio closed on weekends. Booking is through the studio's Square site, and a $50 nonrefundable deposit is charged per service at booking and applied to the total. Payment is accepted by cash, credit and debit card, Venmo, and Zelle. Each client receives a cleanser and aftercare balm. Aftercare calls for cleansing morning and night for 10 days, keeping makeup off and near the brows for 2 weeks, and avoiding direct sun for 2 weeks.

Some policies affect planning. Work by another artist must be approved by email with clear photos before booking, and previous tattoos are only worked over once they are at least 80 to 90% faded. Changes need 72 hours' notice; later cancellations forfeit the deposit and are charged 20% of the appointment. A no-show forfeits the deposit and is charged 50%. Botox or Dysport should be done at least 14 days before or after a brow appointment, and clients should avoid waxing, threading or tweezing brows for at least one week beforehand. Cosmetic tattooing is not performed on anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

The studio offers a one-on-one shadowing program in which a visitor watches a full day of brow work, priced at $995 with a $100 deposit. It does not currently offer beginner or advanced trainings. A waitlist is available for anyone who wants to be notified of earlier openings.
