Alisha Nakamura is the owner and lead stylist, and she also works as a hair educator. Larissa Friesen is the other stylist on the team.

The studio's hair menu covers haircuts, color, balayage, foil highlights, and blowouts. Haircuts can be paired with highlights as an add-on. Treatments include K18 spray and mask options, a gloss, and a deep conditioning treatment, and products from Davines, Innersense, and Barebone are sold through the website. The studio describes its products as the highest quality salon products it can get.

The studio says it aims for a high standard in its work and wants every client to leave satisfied. It also places weight on nurturing new talent and contributing to the wider industry, which ties in with the mentorship Alisha offers.

Booking rules are set out clearly. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice, and later changes are charged 50% of the service. No-shows are charged the full balance of the booked service, and arriving 15 or more minutes late can be treated as a cancellation or no-show. The studio reserves the right to refuse service for disruptive, disrespectful, or discriminatory behavior and says it is committed to an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone. New clients booking with Alisha complete an intake form first, and new clients booking with Larissa start with the New Client Curly Haircut.
