Clients can begin with a consultation, either in person at the studio or as a 30-minute virtual call over Zoom. In-person new client consultations are used to start the process for loc extensions, starter locs or loc repair. Instant locs and permanent loc extensions require a consultation before booking, and loc repair does too when more than five locs are involved.

Beverages are offered during services and snacks are sold on site. Clients are asked not to bring meals or extra guests to appointments, and not to smoke beforehand, since a strong smoke smell may lead to a request to reschedule. Loc maintenance with basic style carries a $7 charge for locs that need more than two washes because of heavy dirt and buildup.

The studio is open Tuesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
