Nailzbyloren is a small nail salon at 1041 E Wingate St in Covina. Loren, the owner and a licensed nail technician, started taking clients about a year and a half before the business was set up as an LLC in 2024.

The menu centers on gel work. Builder gel manicures are a soft gel structured manicure that typically lasts four weeks or more and takes about 45 minutes or more. Gelx fullsets, which add soft gel tips adhered to the natural nail, start at $75 and take an hour or more. Hard gel manicures are a structured option that lasts four weeks or more and takes about an hour and a half or more. Hard gel has to be filed off completely for removal, and the salon does not offer soak off for it.

Beyond the main services, the salon offers acetone soak off, which takes 30 minutes or more and starts at $25, and nail fixes at $5 per finger covering nail art, length, shape and soak off. Nail art add-ons such as charms, chrome and rhinestones are available, and Loren says they enjoy creating nail art. Soak off on nails that were not done at the salon is booked as a foreign soak off.

Loren's stated goal is to help each client leave feeling like their most confident self.
