NaiLux INC

NaiLux INC is a second-floor salon in Crest Hill, founded by Aliona Gurdis. It is open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Appointments are booked through the salon's Fresha page, which also offers group bookings and gift purchases.

The salon's core work is manicures and pedicures. The E-File gel manicure for short natural nails covers detailed cuticle care, shaping and buffing, a gel base, one gel color, cuticle oil and hand cream, and takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. It is priced from $80 to $105, varying by nail master. Pedicures are waterless E-File treatments with nail trimming, cuticle care, callus removal, cuticle oil, cream and a foot massage. The regular-polish version starts at $75 and the gel-polish version starts at $90, with a complimentary back massage included in the gel version. Clients with gel on their toes need gel removal booked as an add-on for the regular-polish pedicure. Russian manicure and pedicure and gel overlay are also offered. Add-ons include French design, nail art, repairs and removing gel applied elsewhere.

Training is a separate offering for nail technicians. The Nail Tool Sterilization Training is a self-paced online English-language course with lifetime access, priced at $49.99, covering video lessons, a guide, sterilization forms, a logbook example and a product and equipment list. Modern Manicure Techniques is private one-on-one training in E-File gel manicure with nail bits and scissors, combining theory and hands-on practice. The complete private course is $1,300 and includes a 6 CE hour certificate; a practice-only option is $700 for technicians who already know the theory and includes a 3 CE hour certificate. Extra practice sessions are $700 for returning students. Sessions are scheduled individually after registration and last up to 6 to 8 hours, with coffee, tea and snacks provided. Training is offered in English, Romanian and Russian, and students may bring their own translator for other languages.

Prioritises clean, detailed nail work and proper nail care, with an aim of results that last. Tools are cleaned, disinfected, dry-heat sterilized, tested, documented and stored.
