Acrylic and hard gel are both sculpted or overlaid onto the natural nail, with fills needed every two to three weeks. Acrylic has a noticeable odor during application, while hard gel is UV-cured and has no odor. Hard gel is not removed by soaking. Gel X uses full-coverage soft gel tips with no odor and can be soaked off, and it needs no filing. Luminary is a fillable builder gel that does not need to be soaked off, and it is paired with OPI Gel Color.
Pricing is based on short natural nail lengths. Longer lengths, nail art and repairs are charged extra. Clients with questions about price can raise them during a complimentary consultation. Returning clients receive complimentary removal of OPI gel manicures, and repeat Gel X clients have soak-off included.
The salon follows the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology guidelines and uses established professional brands, following each manufacturer's instructions. Custom nail art is booked as an add-on and includes hand-painted designs, Swarovski crystal designs, glitter mixes and embellishments.
