It focuses on Russian style manicures, hard gel manicures, Japanese manicures and gel nail art, and the salon says it has served more than 500 women.
The Russian Manicure begins with detailed cuticle work using an e-file, followed by a dry manicure. It can be done bare, with clear or nude structure gel, or with one gel color, starting at $75. For medium to long nails, the dual-form gel overlay or extension is listed at $150 and about 1 hour 20 minutes. The Premium Gel Manicure is a dual-form option for fragile, damaged or bitten nails, or for clients who want added length.
Nail art is sold in sets by nail count: two accent nails for $25, four accent nails for $40, ten business commute nails at $5 each, and ten hand-painted or bespoke nails at $10 each. Add-ons include medium or long nail length, extra time for very long nails or intricate designs, classic French tips, chrome powder, soft, ombre and glitter ombre French finishes, and 10K plated gold accessories. Russian Pedicure is also offered, and cracked or problem heel care is available only with it.
Gel removal starts with an e-file to reduce the product before soaking. For the salon's own clients, gel removal is free with a new set booked within 4 weeks. Foreign gel removal and shellac polish removal are add-ons at $20 and $10. Between clients, tools are cleaned, disinfected and autoclave sterilized, and any files or buffers that cannot be sterilized are single-use.
Training is offered for nail professionals. An online Speed Russian Manicure course is a one-time purchase of $59.90 with eight lessons. One-on-one private Russian manicure training in Houston lasts two days, costs $2,000, requires a deposit to hold a spot, and ends with a certificate. Group training is not offered at present unless the trainee already has a nail team. The training page notes that anyone who does manicures for profit must be a licensed nail tech or cosmetologist in the state where they work. An apprenticeship is available to licensed nail techs who trained through NailUp and meet the salon's requirements.
Specializes in Russian style manicure methods, with an emphasis on careful cuticle work, sterilized tools and recommended gel timing.
