Nailtok is located in Suite 810 at Salon Republic on Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. The space is decorated in pink, a look inspired by the film Legally Blonde, and the salon says it is safe and clean.

About

The core service is a waterless e-file dry manicure on natural nails, finished with a structured gel such as Luminary, BIAB or Glitterbel. This service does not include extensions or tips. Luminary Structured Manicure is also offered, and Luminary removal is available either with another service or as a care visit for returning clients.

For length and shape, the salon offers Apres Gel-X extensions in short, medium and long lengths, along with Apres Gel-X removal for returning clients. Nail art is organized into five levels, from simple two-finger designs and French tips up to freestyle designs on all ten fingers. Level 5 evening sessions need to be booked in advance and can run three to four hours.

Add-ons include Downward Nail Correction, also called Eagle Nail Correction, which temporarily corrects the nail plate and lasts one to two appointments. It cannot be booked on its own. Broken nail repair is available per nail, and LCN cosmetic restoration is offered for both fingernails and toenails.

Men's services include a Signature Care dry manicure and an e-file pedicure without polish, which takes about 45 minutes. Eyelash lifts and eyelash extensions are also offered. Appointments can be booked online through a Square booking page or by calling (949) 217-1182. The salon is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Built around the health of natural nails, using waterless dry manicures and structured gels, and using non-toxic products that the salon says are free from formaldehyde, toluene and DBP.
