NAILSXMORENITA is a one-person nail business operating from a private studio in Martinez. Elizabeth S owns the business and does all of the nail work herself, and new clients are welcome.

Services are built around two systems, builder gel manicures and Gel-X soft gel extensions. Each comes in three tiers that step up in nail art complexity and appointment length. Tier 1 keeps to solid colors, French or ombré designs, and a few simple charms. Tier 2 adds airbrush, multiple designs, 3D art or gems. Tier 3 covers freestyle work, sculpted 3D art, character nails and highly detailed designs. Builder gel Tier 1 starts at $50 and takes about 90 minutes, while Gel-X Tier 3 starts at $95 and takes about 165 minutes.

Repairs cover broken, cracked, chipped or lifted nails, matched to the current set. Repairs are free within five days of the appointment and carry a fee after that, and clients need to send a photo before booking one. The studio also removes gel applied by the salon with a gentle soak-off and nail prep, and removes product applied by another technician by filing or soaking off as needed, followed by nail prep.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 10 PM, Friday 7 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 4 PM and Sunday 7 AM to 3 PM. Payment is accepted by Zelle, Apple Cash, Venmo and cash. Clients who need to change an appointment should let the studio know as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late are rescheduled or cancelled, and same-day cancellations or missed appointments may affect the ability to book future visits.
