Nail◦ish was founded in spring 2019 and runs a South Minneapolis salon and a Bloomington location. Walk-ins are typically accepted, though appointments are preferred and can be booked online or by phone. Groups of six or more receive a 10% discount and are asked to call ahead.

Visits include a range of manicure and pedicure options, from a basic service to a longer Nailish Signature pedicure with a volcano crystal detox soak, collagen mask, hot stone and shoulder heat wrap. Pedicure chairs are pipeless, with removable jets that are swapped out between every pedicure. Reusable tools such as clippers are soaked in a hospital-grade cleaning agent, while files, pumice stones and buffers are single-use and either given to the client or discarded.

Gel manicures are cured under LED lamps, which emit a small amount of UV light, and generally last longer than regular polish. Regular polish typically lasts about seven days, gel up to two to three weeks and dip up to three weeks, depending on nail growth and care. The salon recommends having gel manicures removed professionally. Acrylic nails are offered by appointment only, and hard gel extensions are offered as an odorless alternative to acrylic.

Nail art is priced from $3 per nail or from $20 for all ten nails. Add-ons include CBD, collagen gloves and socks, nail shaping and length, and gel or lacquer polish changes with a cut and shaping. CBD, which the salon describes as containing fatty acids that help hydrate skin, is available in pedicures and as an add-on.

Policies cover repairs and cancellations. Gel and dip polish that chips or peels, and new acrylic sets that are chipped, lifted or broken, may be covered for repair if reported by email within five days with photos, the service date and the technician's name. The salon does not offer refunds and offers nail correction appointments instead. Clients who need to cancel or reschedule are asked to call or email as soon as possible, and clients more than ten minutes late may have their service shortened or delayed. Clients may bring their own polish, and payment is by major credit card or Apple Pay, with cash payments receiving a $2 voucher toward the next service.

Trend-forward nail designs are a focus, and the team will recreate inspiration that clients bring in. The salon's services are built around both polish and skin and nail care, with add-ons available to customize a visit.
