NAIL THERAPY SALON

Nail Therapy Salon operates from Studio #45 inside Sola Salons at 10260 Viking Dr. in Eden Prairie. The salon is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Its menu covers manicures, pedicures, add-ons that can be paired with either, and gel polish removal.

The salon uses the Dazzle Dry polish line for every service. According to the salon, Dazzle Dry is the closest thing to natural nails available in a polish. The polish sets in about five minutes, leaves a gel-like finish, and does not require lights or harsh chemicals. The salon says the formula nourishes and strengthens nails rather than weakening them.

Manicures come in three lengths. The Express Manicure takes 45 minutes and includes quick shaping, minimal cuticle work, Dazzle Dry in a color of the client's choice, and lotion. The standard Manicure takes 60 minutes and adds trimming, filing, cuticle trimming, and a hand massage. The Spa Manicure runs 90 minutes and adds an exfoliating hand scrub, cuticle work, and a warm-towel masque removal step.

Pedicures follow the same pattern. The Express Pedicure takes 45 minutes and covers quick shaping, a cuticle trim, lotion, and either Dazzle Dry or shine buffing, with callus work available in place of polish. The 75-minute Pedicure includes filing, shaping, cuticle trimming, callus work when needed, a sugar scrub, Dazzle Dry, and a foot and lower leg massage. The 105-minute Spa Pedicure adds an exfoliating foot and lower leg scrub and warm-towel masque removal.

Add-ons can be booked with a service. The lavender-scented clay masque (15 minutes, $10) is meant to moisturize and soften hands and feet, and the lavender-scented salt glow (10 minutes, $8) is an exfoliating scrub for hands. Gel removal (15 minutes, $15) involves filing and soaking off gel polish.

A complimentary 10-minute nail consultation is available to discuss nail concerns and the services that might suit them. If medical treatment is needed, the consultation can include a referral to a physician. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a late cancellation within 24 hours is charged a 50% fee. A no-show without a call is charged 100% of the service price.

The salon's work centers on natural nails, with Dazzle Dry as its only polish line. Services are built around shaping, cuticle care, and softening hands and feet, and the salon describes the polish as nourishing rather than weakening.
